Re-opening Saturday 4th July - 12:00-22:30
We finally have the news that we've been waiting for and we can't wait to see your dodgy haircuts on Saturday July 4th!
If you've called in for a take-away lately you'll know that we're fully ready with all of Boris's boxes ticked and everything in place to make sure that you can visit us safely.
We have a ton of new conditions to comply with to maintain social distancing, but please remember the changes we've made are for the safety of everyone. Here's what you need to know before heading down to The Hangar.
TABLE RESERVATION NOT ESSENTIAL
There is no need to book a table in advance although we are now taking reservations for tables on our website (click on BOOK at the top). Please don't ask to reserve by email or through social media. We've turned all inside tables into booths that safely separate guests and have created spaces in our garden and cabin. We'll only be reserving 4 tables in advance and the rest will be allocated on arrival via our virtual queue system. There will be no time limits on tables.

AL FRESCO ANYONE?
We will also be providing a seating area outside the pub, this will be reserved for the use of Hangar customers only.
In the meantime, you can buy all of our usual drinks (including our lovely gins) at the bar and enjoy them on the grass providing social distancing is observed and there is no mess left behind. We're responsible for regular patrolling to check social distancing and IDs as usual so over 18s only please.
OVER 18s
The Hangar will remain a strictly Over 18 venue including all outside areas.
VIRTUAL QUEUE SYSTEM
All guests must be seated and there can be no standing at the bar or tables. This will greatly reduce our capacity and we know it will upset some people but please bear with us.
When you arrive at The Hangar you'll be asked to wait at the entrance to be seated. If you have a reservation we'll seat you as soon as your table area has been sanitised, if not you'll need to place yourself in our virtual queue. This can be done by scanning a QR code or asking a member of staff and you'll then get a text when your table is ready.
ORDER AT TABLE APP
A new Order At Table App has been developed to allow guests to choose drinks from our full menu and pay by card or with Apple Pay. Once your drinks are ready, you will get a text and will be able to collect them from the collection point at the bar. We'll let you know how you can get hold of our queue system and order apps before we re-open.
DELIVERIES / CLICK AND COLLECT
We have now suspended our online delivery and click and collect service to allow us to concentrate on the huge task of re-opening. We're still offering a take away service and this will continue after opening, simply come along during opening hours and order at the bar.
