SIDCUP PRIVATE HIRE - Details and terms

You must accept these booking terms to book so please read fully.

DEPOSIT

We don't charge a fee to hire areas at our venues, however we require a £100 deposit to secure the booking.

 

Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been paid.

​

 

MINIMUM BAR SPEND - (drinks only)

We ask for the following minimum bar spend for exclusive garden hire

​

Monday -Thursday £300

​​​

Friday / Saturday / Sunday from opening until 6pm £300

​

Friday & Saturday 4pm until closing £700

​

Friday & Saturday 5pm until closing £650

​

Friday & Saturday 6pm until closing £500

​

DEPOSIT REFUND

Your deposit will be refunded by bank transfer the day after the event providing:

​

a) None of your party brought their own drink into the venue

b) The minimum spend on drinks as stated above is met

c) There is no damage to fixtures or fittings. This includes cigarette burns and missing items

d) If you need to cancel your booking, a minimum of 14 days notice is given

CABIN AREA

12-20 GUESTS - you will have exclusive access to the covered garden cabin. Other guests will have access to the rest of the garden (no minimum bar spend - request to book through booking page above)

CABIN + GARDEN AREA

30-45 GUESTS - you will have exclusive access to the whole covered garden area and cabin (subject to minimum spend above)​

MINIMUM GUESTS

If the minimum number of guests for exclusive use doesn't arrive and we are very busy,  we reserve the right to open the space up for other guests to share with you.

​

CHILDREN

Children under 16 are welcome at Sidcup until 6pm. Due to our alcohol licence conditions, under 16s are not allowed on the premises after 6pm (includes the garden area and out front)

 

16-18 year olds are permitted at the discretion of staff. 

 

We do not have baby change or bottle warming facilities.

 

ID will be required for those lucky enough to look under 25 - We do not accept pictures of ID on phones.

​

 

SMOKING

It is against the law to smoke in our gardens or cabin. An area to the front of both pubs is provided for smokers. Vaping is permitted in the garden area providing there is no objection from other guests but not inside the pub.

​

DRINKS

Guests are not permitted to bring their own drinks into the venue. If any member of your party is found to have consumed drinks not purchased at the bar, your deposit will not be refunded.

​

FOOD OPTIONS

We can provide food from our Turkish menu at Sidcup provided by the Nazar Restaurant next door, or guests are welcome to bring their own cold buffet and nibbles for hire bookings - STRICTLY no drinks / no hot food / no takeaways

 

Please note that we do not allow sparkler candles.

DECORATIONS

Decorations must be agreed upon in advance, put up with blu-tac, (not drawing pins) and must be taken away at the end of the night.

 

If you'd like to come in early to decorate, please contact us first to see when the space will be available as there might be a booking before you.

​

Please note that we do not allow confetti, table sprinkles or sparkler candles.

​

​

MUSIC

We have bluetooth speakers that you can connect to to play your own music however the volume must be kept to a low, background volume out of respect for our neighbours and switched off at 10pm (We have a sound meter installed and could be fined)

SILENT DISCO

Add a Silent Disco package to your booking and every guest will have their own LED headphones with 3 channels of party music, or even bring your own DJ! - See here for details
